URFAUST about HOOF TAR:
"Now it is something time for something "same same but different": HOOF TAR!
An epic total Urfaustian doom hymn recorded during the Carnival of 2020, starting of the world wide Corona Pandemic, at the SCULPT SOUND STUDIO in Köln, Germany under the watchful eye of LAURENT TEUBL (CHAPEL OF DISEASE).
This new URFAUST ep will be available as a 1 sided 12" vinyl record (including engraving on the vinyl) with insane and killer artwork by long time friend, illustrator and tattoo artist THIBAUT WANTZ.
Now, the good people of VÁN RECORDS created an insane custom handmade box with hotfoil print that not only looks fantastic, but also include a bonus cd single.
Why a cd single? Well… we had no specific reason, but since the early days of URFAUST, we always wanted to release a cd single in a slimcase, you know, the one’s that where popular in the 90’s and always contained some bonus tracks and remixes…
so this is what we done:
We took the artwork of THIBAUT and made it extra ugly, fitting the "vibe" of a cd single like this. We included the 2 original songs of the HOOF TAR single, but also collaborated with LAURENT TEUBL to create a "radio edit" version and a "spaced out mix" version. Our friend and synthwave artist LUEUR VERTE created the most epic remix possible of our song as well, which is included on this cd!
This release has been cursed with all kind of delays and set backs because of a global pandemic, war and unforeseen troubles, but now HOOF TAR is finally here…."

Made of 2mm solid black cardboard withhotfoil debossing in silver on the front + additional hotfoil debossing on the inside.
- Furthermore there is an extra slipcase for this packaging, made of 350g/sqm Chromoboard, which is 4/4-color printed.
