Fusing the folk standards of old with a caustic lo-fi approach lifted from nineties black metal demos and bedroom synth sounds, the debut release of Feral Verge, "Sickle of Leather" rears it's head.
With trad folk and songs originally written by the likes of Cyril Tawney, Nick Drake and John Dowland, it is a listen that blends old familiarities with future dread and delirium.
