Drakonhail - Nihil Nocturne 12"

Drakonhail's art only exists to set to music the disquieting strangeness of the night, the funeral march of the ghosts and shadows that prowl through the forest, the rise of the mist over the haunted countryside, the glow of the full moon that barely pierces through the thick mist. Drakonhail evokes an out-of-this-world world, without humanity, a lifeless world, a dead land floating in nothingness. One truth: only nothingness exists. 

This “Nihil Nocturne” release includes the 19 min eponym song from 2009, which should have been released on 12” LP by D.U.K.E but this never happened. This piece only appeared on the limited 50-copy tape “Nocturnes dans l’ombre” released by Dernier Bastion in 2012, as well as the song “L’haleine du corbeau”. The song “Ma tombe” is previously unreleased. “L’haleine du corbeau” and “Ma tombe” are Drakonhail interpretations of oldest Saatkrähe’s songs that fit perfectly to the funeral Drakonhail atmospheres and were recorded in 2007.
